My sister and I had always talked about going into business together, but you know how life takes you into very different places than you had ever imagined…

When we were growing up, instead of reading to us every night, some nights our father would narrate his own version of the Frog Prince. He would always be the narrator, and my sister and I would take turns playing the part of the princess and the frog.  Time went on… my sister became a respiratory therapist and I  an attorney.

 

On April 2, 2005, our mother, Lois Pearl, only 59 years young, lost her battle with lung cancer…and that moment has forever changed our lives.  Her legacy is, among other things, an unconditional love for children and animals.  That continues to live on through us.

My sister has a beautiful son, and I have two incredibly amazing children (as well as several dogs, cats and goats between us).  Being a mom is the most important part of my life.  We also love buying unique clothing and accessories for them. We were unable to find a boutique that offered a one-stop shopping experience for busy moms-to-be, experienced moms, dads, grandmas, aunts, etc. We decided that it was the right time in our lives to make a change and work together…it would have made our mother very happy.  So, we set out to create a very special shopping experience…Princess & The Frog!
